    Abu Dhabi Exports Office explores trade opportunities with Tanzania

    Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) and Chairman of the Exports Executive Committee of the Abu Dhabi Exports Office (ADEX), met with a Tanzanian delegation led by Dr. Philip Isdor, Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, to discuss the improvement of UAE-Tanzania bilateral relations.

    Abu Dhabi Exports Office explores trade opportunities with TanzaniaThe meeting took place on the sidelines of the eighth session of the World Government Summit 2022 (WSG2022) at Expo 2020 Dubai, and was also attended by Mabrouk Mabrouk, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, as well as Khalil Al Mansoori, Acting Director-General of ADEX.

    Isdor noted that Tanzania is interested in broadening its collaboration with the UAE on all fronts, saying that this kind of partnership would be pivotal to the country’s economic and development programs. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of developing a more robust and successful collaboration with ADEX and making use of its financing solutions.

    As part of its visit, the Tanzanian delegation also had the opportunity to learn about ADEX’s financing solutions for importers of UAE goods and services. Both the public and private sectors are eligible to take advantage of these solutions. They also acknowledged the ADEX strategic objectives and vision, which are in line with the UAE’s economic diversification and sustainably development strategies.
