    GCC Secretary General calls for stronger cybersecurity cooperation

    The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Dr. Naif Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s advancements in cybersecurity and its achievements in this regard, emphasizing the importance of enhancing cooperation in this area as it is one of the most important pillars for the protection and safety of data and information. In Riyadh, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the GCC General Secretariat and the Kingdom’s National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA).

    GCC Secretary General calls for stronger cybersecurity cooperationIn response to future requirements and in preparation for competitions and challenges, Dr. Al-Hajraf showed how eager the GCC General Secretariat is to establish partnerships with the GCC, regional and international bodies. Cybersecurity efforts need to be intensified, technological systems built, human capacity enhanced, and plans developed to prevent cyber security incidents, praising NCA’s pioneering experience in the Kingdom in this field.
