At the 20th Arab Consumer Federation’s forum, held here today, it was proposed to conduct an objective scholarly study about COVID-19’s impact on Arab families. Forum participants encouraged Consumer Interest Research (CIR) to organize workshops specializing in Arab consumer issues. The forum recommended initiatives to instill consumer culture in students of schools and institutes.
It suggested adding study subjects on consumer rights and duties, encouraging digital financial services, organizing courses on marketing laws and mechanisms, and creating e-marketing laws and regulations. Moreover, the forum encouraged enterprises to establish comprehensive information systems that enable policy makers to draft strategies and executive summaries for all sectors within an organization.
