    Oman Ministry of Higher Education inks agreement to develop Vocational Colleges

    The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation in Oman has signed an agreement with the company Sohar Aluminum to work together in developing several vocational colleges. This includes the Vocational College for Marine Sciences in Al Khabourah Wilayat. The agreement was signed by Dr. Muna Salim Al Jardani, Undersecretary for Vocational Training and Eng. Said Mohammed Al Masoudi, CEO of Sohar Aluminum company.

    Oman Ministry of Higher Education inks agreement to develop Vocational CollegesThis cooperation will be carried out under the framework of the strategic partnership the Centre has with private businesses. Also, as part of Sohar Aluminum’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, this project contributes to the community as well. In specific initiatives, a comprehensive plan was outlined to develop the vocational colleges in a timely manner to accommodate more students. The courses offered by those colleges will also be enhanced to keep up with the rapid developments occurring in the field of vocational training.
